Currently, we are seeking candidates for the position of Dispatcher I. The Dispatcher I position is a training position with the intent of advancing to Dispatcher II.
The following is a list of expectations from a Dispatcher I:
- 1. The ability to facilitate freight movement with the direct supervision of a senior dispatcher.
- 2. The ability to monitor freight movement, to include driver directions, driver check calls and confirmations.
- 3. The ability to develop carrier relationships.
- 4. The ability to maintain open communication with management regarding the status of your freight.
- 5. The ability to perform all functions of a Dispatch Assistant.
