Technology and Logistics

Position: LTL Coordinator / Claims Specialist
  • Responsible for the daily tracking of all LTL and truckload freight
  • Must possess excellent telephone skills
  • Must have experience in processing insurance claims for loss and/or damage of freight
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be very detail oriented and have strong communication skills
  • Must have general computer experience with good data entry skills
Position: Dispatcher
  • Responsible for the daily dispatching of drivers nationwide
  • Needs to be able to negotiate freight rates with drivers
  • Will need to work with shippers to establish availability of freight
  • Must possess excellent telephone skills
  • Telemarketing experience a plus
Position: FoxPro Developer / Network Administrator

Responsible for analyzing user requirements, designing, coding, testing, and implementing applications with little supervision. This position will create various business applications to automate and improve the operational efficiency of business processes throughout the company. This position will follow project plans for creating new applications or enhancing existing ones as well as providing quality support to end users. This position will maintain one or more systems will need to perform general network administration tasks.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6/7/8
  • Knowledge of MS Exchange 2000, MS Active Directory,
  • Knowledge of Netware NDS and MS 2000 Server
  • Experience with Citrix XP
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional using Word, Access, Excel and other related software
  • Superior verbal and written communication while working with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL), and Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, FTP
  • Experience with WatchGuard network appliances a Plus
